Step 1: First, you can insert an SD card into your JioFi device. you can insert it properly.
Step 2: The Connect to the wireless network in the device and then you can use. Tan, open a browser and enter the address of the configuration page; jiofi.local.html.
Step 3: If you didn’t change the credentials at all, the data would be “administrator” (both username and password).
Step 4: Once you can get yourself to the configuration page, go to Settings.
Step 5: On the screen that comes up, you can see the tab named Storage. You see four options there. Let me explain each one of them.
You must enable to use JioFi as a storage device. By disabling this option we can limit the Data usage as a wifi hotspot only.
Username:-Note the fact that this is not the username of the entire hotspot. This one corresponds to the use of storage. You can keep it as it is (sd card) or change it is if you want.
Password:-When someone tries to access the files on your SD card, it will ask for the username & password, which is by default one sd card. But I suggest you change it.
Storage mode:-As I already told you about the availability of three options here. As universal cloud space, keep the internet storage option if you want to use it. In order to limit the access to those who use JioFi network only, go with WiFi cloud Storage.
